Meyiwa family demands justice

The family of the late Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa says they believe that the men currently on trial for his murder are not guilty and that the real killers are still on the loose.

This was heard during a picket organised by Meyiwa's brother at the Union Buildings in Pretoria on 19 May. They are demanding justice and for the trial to be sped up. Meyiwa was shot and killed 12 years ago in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni.

Meyiwa's younger brother, Sifiso, says he has opened a case of defeating the ends of justice against the state, as he believes that they are not prosecuting the correct suspects.
